Every November, 20 to 25 handmade tile artists in the Pacific Northwest gather for one weekend in November to share their craft with the public. The tiles displayed are as diverse as the people who make them. Ceramic, glass, concrete, and stone tiles in many sizes and techniques fill tables throughout the exhibit space. Visitors can purchase most of the items displayed or discuss custom projects with the artists. The Festival also hosts a juried show where many of Artisan Tile NW members create a piece in response to a chosen theme. The winning artist is selected to design the next commemorative tile. The ATNW Tile Festival has become a wonderful pre-holiday tradition.
