Heron’s Nest Gallery – ATNW Member Featured Artist

 

Vashon Island’s Heron’s Nest gallery show cases a featured artist each month. ATNW member Mary Lynn Buss is the featured artist for March.  The show opening is March 7, from 6 to 9 pm. The show will feature works of from her “Acts of God” works and her Aura series.

The Collective Visions Gallery in Bremerton has just concluded it’s seventh annual all state, all media art show. Over 280 artists from 70 cities submitted 771 artworks for consideration. Of these only 116 pieces were selected. ATNW member was one of the artists selected. In spite of the fact that the juror, Jamie Walker, a UW professor of art and a note ceramic artist Mary Lynn’s work was the only tile work in the show.

FIRST ATNW STUDIO TOUR OF 2014, February 1

The first studio tour of 2014 is scheduled for next Saturday on Vashon Island.

The first of three planned studio tours is scheduled. The first studio tour will include three studios on Vashon Island, Saturday, February 1, 2014. David Blad/Janet Gadallah, Mary Lynn Buss, Clare Dohna. Reimbursement will be available for carpools. Submit receipts to Treasurer Tracy Gosser. Refreshments will be provided by ATNW at Clare Dohna-Firehouse Tileworks. Ideas were solicited for studio tour events 2 and 3.

Action: Carpools are encouraged. Please RSVP to Gina Holt

Show Time~Final Touches and Traffic alert

 

We are working feverously  putting on final Touches for this years show…  One little bit of information to for those planning on using the Montlake Bridge is….2013 CommTile

TRAFFIC NOTE:  Due to repair work on the Montlake bridge this weekend, those traveling on 520  or planning on using Montlake to the show  the best exit will be off I-5 onto NE 45th and continue on 45th until you arrive at University Village.   Follow our signs from there.
